    Feather Plucking????

    hi,
Seems that my male father is plucking his babies feathers. Is this normal? Do I need to remove the babies?
There are four obvious spots where the male as plucked at one of his babies. Is it ok that the male pluck a little bit, but not excessively?
I have a brooder ready in case I need to have the babies removed.
    Any opinions are appreciated.
    Thank you

Why do the parents sometimes pluck the feathers of their young? I am a bit nervous about handfeeding.
    it is my first time!

if the parents are plucking the chicks they could easily kill them that's why you have to remove them.

Furthermore, if you notice this behavior, you shouldn't breed this couple again and their babies shouldn't be bred either for it is a bad trait that is hereditary.

Ger an experienced breeder or avian vet to teach you how to handfeed ASAP, before the aggression result in the death of the chicks.
