    not active in his cage

Sydney is out of his cage usually, but when he is in it, he is not very active. He just sits on his top perch, and eats, drinks and sits. is there anyway i can make him more active, im wondering if hes scared in there. Is there anything i can do to make him more active?

I also don't know what im gonna do when i go to school, he is usually out all day long, if he wants, when im at school, i can't take him out, is this gonna affect him?

sry for the length, i just didn't want to put twenty different post on the same topic

:haha You think THAT'S long You've no idea! Moohaha! Anyway, those are good questions.

I don't think there's anything you can really do to make him more active. Is he a new budgie? It takes time for them to warm up. You could try putting a radio on for him. My guys like singing along to the radio. I leave one on for them all day.

When you go back to school, I'd suggest trying to schedule a bit of time in the morning to give Sydney some attention, and spend as much time as you can with him when you get home. He will probably be a bit sad at first, but if you give him lots of love, I think he'll be fine. It woudl also help to find him lots of toys that he likes, to keep him occuppied.

if had Sydney for about three months now. He pretty much knows his way around the house, and around the cat.

He doesn't play with any of his toys, if tried to get him too but i think he's scared of them. His cage is by a t.v., so i usually turn it on when im there or not.

If he is afraid of his toys, it might help to buy very small toys for him. They are often less afraid of smaller things.
