Bad Pet Store

When I was visiting Edmonton over the summer, in the mall there are two petstores, I think one of them was Petsmart, and the other was some private name, I can't remember. Anyway, I was appauled by what I saw in the private one.
There was a hexagonal tank with each side being about a foot, and every inch was occupied by a couple budgies. There was also the wire top of a hamster cage in the bottom, which some budgies were trapped under! I cannot remember seeing adequate food and water either. There were ALSO "purebred" dogs that looked like they were half dead, in small cages, and I could hear more animal noises from "the back room". Some dogs were marked as Chiwawas(spelling) for like $1000 (Canadian), and were bigger than adult Chiwawas EVER get! I took a whole bunch of pics, and will post them asap *(when I get them developed). But I was wondering if it would be legal, to post these pictures on a website or something? Does anyone know?
This makes me SO mad when I see this kinda thing...

Yipe!!! I cannot believe this happened. I don't know if it would be leagal to post those pictures, I would suggest bringing them to an authority first, then you couldn't be given a hassle about doing anything 'illeagal" although I doubt it would be.

Notify authorities about the bad pet shop... SPCA would probably want to have a look at the pictures..
I beleive you can post the pictures if you want as long as you don't say directly what store this is, just having them as an example of a bad store...
Have you talked to the store manager? Sometimes the reason the pets are in such horrible conditions is because the staff doesn't know any better...

My mom was with me, and FLIPPED on the lady. She (my mum) was like, that cage is far too small for that many budgies, did you know?, the lady was like, no, its not that bad, so ya
but we had to go, we had deadlines to meet (we were going to alaska) and had to be there to get our hotel, so ya. I emailed the SPCA or w/e in Edmonton, and am awaiting a response.
