    conure

Would a conure and a cockateil get along? Just came from the store and they had a sun cunure...he was so loving, you could hold him upside down touch him anywhere...had dakota for 7 months and he still wont let us do all that So, do different species of parrots get along?

    Re: conure

They could get along, but couldn't be housed together and would have to be closely supervised if you have them play together.

Do good research before you go out to buy a sun cornure. They are very very loud, expensive, require a very large cage and a very wide variety of destructible toys that needs to be replace very often etc.

There are other threads here about sun cornure/nanday cornures so you might want to check them out.

    Re: conure

I've read that cockatiels really don't like being on their backs, but conures on the other hand are known for sleeping on their backs! MY sister's friend has one..he is LOUD and bursting to the brim with energy, but he is a total sweetie.

parrots dont usually get along with eachother especially if it is different types so you may as well seperate the cage
