    Talking New aviary... Done!

I've finally bought all the roofing and finished my new aviary, I spent this morning catching all the birds (36 finches, 2 doves, 4 hanging parrots and 5 quail...) then the rest of the day bleaching food and water bowls and putting them in the new aviary with the birds.

It looks great the only problem is, it looks like I've hardly got any birds where it's bigger so when the baby zebras go it will look empty. It's such a chore having to buy more birds

I'm pooped now but will get some pics of them tomorrow and put them on webshots

OOOH BUMMER! More birds! ;D Can't wait to see the pictures! Specially of the hanging parrots. Those sound intriguing.

OK here's some pics, they're not the best because the birds are still settling and are a little skittish still...

Hanging parrots, zebra finches and a green singer just flying in

Nice work! The aviary lools great!

What are the pretty little blue & brown birds in the group shot? There is one directly under the hanging parrot.

The one directly under is a red-cheek cordon bleu male, below and to his right is the female.

I like them. They are so pretty. My favourtite finches are the Gouldian finches. Would they be compatible for filling all that extra space you have.

They are gorgeous birds and would go well in the aviary, but they'll have to wait until I have a spare bit of money (being 40-60 a pair and quite delicate). They're mum's favourites too so no doubt I'll probably get a pair for xmas or easter lol.

That's it! Drop big hints about what you want for christmas and let someone else pay for them! Good idea.
