What sex is horus? (Third clearer pic added)

can anyone help me determine what sex horus is? heres a picture:

Hmm...if the cere gets any more blue, it is a boy. If it stays that color, it could be a girl. Do you have any other pictures close-up looking at Horus straight on?

YA it looks like my budgie cere but there is no white it is tan she looks like a girl

hes about 9 months old and also hes not that colour anymore, hes turned completley yellow

I thought Horus was a girl from the white/blue cere. We had a budgie with a cere like that and four months later it turned completely blue and I didn't think it would so that was surprise to me. I'd say for now it looks like a girl, be curious to see what the cere does in the next while with regard to if it changes color since Horus has changed colors as well. I think a current picture posted of him as well would be of interest.

What an amazing change, you have a beautiful bird.. I think from the first picture that Horus is a girl. It is hard to tell from the second pic, but the cere looks more blue. I would have to see more pictures to draw a more definite conclusion.

The new picture you edited in your original post, the second picture is a good clear picture of Horus. What a shiny pretty beak. I love shiny beaks. And it's interesting to note the color change with the feathers. That's kind of neat.

is it possible for budgies to go through "sex changes"? Jellybean is pretty pink but now there's some blue creeping in.

Pinkish-purple is a normal colour for young males. The cere will go dark blue as he ages. Some mutations stay pinkish-purple all their lives, though.

My little Gizmo was blueish and turned yellow also!
