Training an older cockatiel

Hi, I have 10 year old male Cockatiel and he has never really been tame. I have tried to tame him, but he is always so scared of coming out of the cage. He has aggresion issues also. How can I take this slow enough so he trusts me? Any tips would be most helpful!

Just do the same thing you would do with baby tiels, Be slow, talk gently to him, Offer bribes of food, leave hand still in cage while you talk to him,

If his wings aren't clipped, clip them. Also, re-arrange his cage, that will make him less territorial about his cage (if that is an issue).
