    Egg Shells?

Hello, I'm new here, but I didn't see a topic that directly answers my question, so bear with me...

I've heard that feeding my 'tiel egg shells is good because it has lots of calcuim, but how do I prepare it? I'm worried about the "raw-egg" factor from egg shells, because unless they're hard boiled, they're not cooked! Advice, anyone?

If they're hard boiled then the shell can just be fed as it is, if you want to use the egg for something else then you can just wash the shell and zap it in the microwave (I usually do mine for 20 secs whether I boil the eggs or not) to dry it out a bit.

    Re: Egg Shells?

I scramble eggs and add the egg shells to it. OR I do keep the egg shells that I would normally toss inthe compost and dry them out like Kalvin suggested and run them thru my lil' food chopper for them.
