breathing: how fast is "too fast"?

I've been watching both tiels closely since Flyer has a resparitory infection and is getting antibiotic injections. They're both breathing differently.

Truus seems to breath quickly "in", lets it out slower.
Lovey just seems to breath evenly, but I don't know what's too fast. All I have to compare it to is the budgie and I'm guessing they breath at different rates.

Truus so fluffy it's hard to see her chest. She's not fluffed up, just full of feathers. Lovey is easier to see.

Well.. panting is when a bird breathes with an open mouth. If you can see the chest moving and it looks like its just hammering away trying to breathe, that's too fast. Truus sounds like she may be having trouble getting some air in ... Laboring to get that breath in.. plus the fluffing. Does she open her mouth to breath ever?

No, Truus never opens the mouth to breath that I have seen. And no fluffing or shivering today at all, from either tiel.

I put them in the shower last night (Lovey decided to take a bath in the apple juice I splatted on the table) then dried them really well with. They went to bed completely dry, no shivering It's been really warm yesterday and today (75 - 80's), though it'll drop to the 50's day after tomorrow.

Yesterday and today they foraged on the picnic mat and had fun running around. I still want them tested and will speak with the vet tomorrow when take Flyer in for her next antibiotic shot. They're still sneezing (and I get sprayed sometimes) .

Truus' poop is way too runny during the day. In the mornings I find one HUGE poop that looks like spinach, but lighter green. Then littler greenish brownish poops, sometimes with runny white urates, no firm poop at all with her.

Lovey's poops are pretty much the same colors, but firm. I can pick them up, instead of wiping, like Truus'.

Truus is perching on her branch to sleep instead of on the cage floor, which I took as a good sign. But I'm still really worried about all 3 birds.
