    Travel Carrier

    Hello,

Im looking at getting a travel carrier for things like a trip to the vet. These are the two Im considering:

    Or

I personally think that the second one is better because it would offer some draft protection. It would also be dark to calm the budgie however at the same time will allow some fresh air. What do you think?

actually, the first one (Cage for birds) slides into the second. That way, when you can take more than one bird to the vet or where ever, and have them safe when you unzip the carrier. I have one for trips. It'll hold 2 tiels or 4 budgies comfortably.

Thats definatly a solution, but thats gonna cost $60 canadian!! Thats a lot.
I probably will only have 1 budgie in it at a time.

Id really like to get the second one, do you think it would work ok?

only thing is getting them in and out of a zippered case. But I couldn't pass up the covered part. Helps keep the drafts out. I'd get one part, then save and get the second part later.

    Thanks again for the advice,

Im going to get the outer part first (because its darker and keeps out drafts) , and take Zoe to the vet tomoro. And save up for the inner part.
