    Re: need help feeding baby

towel him and put some warm formula on the side of his beak - he should start gulping it up instinctively...
if that doesn't work, try putting him back with the parents for short periods of time a few times a day (obviously supervised), so the parents can feed him.

    need help feeding baby

ive been handfeeding one of our babies from day one of her life....she is about 5 weeks old. we had to pull another baby from mom and dad the other day becuase he was being plucked badly but he is not used to eating formula obviously. do any of you have any tips on how to get him to eat? he picks at seeds but its not enough. he also watches us feed the other baby and seems interested until its his turn.
