Egg's Cracking...
Re: Tinkerbell - Love of a flying grey parrot in Taiwan
Deanna,
Always remember that birdwhisperer of Tsaoling is the person I aspire to. I had not even realised he was teaching me from day one when he broke up a conversation on feelings of birds. Luckily I wrote and recorded even when I had no clue what he was saying then just think it was cute and quirky.
Gwaigwai is a Chinese kind of ghost, a mischeivious ghost. Accept culturally we came from different backgrounds. Not all ghosts are evil in Chinese. Like dragons in the West are evil and guarding good and dragons in the East are mighty and generally no intentions to harm you, except from collateral damages
Kai,
It is better to think of your birdie as wild, and despite being wild, can enter into a friendly relationship with you.
I think folks will be happy to read both reports. Do check the links to the Yunnan Bai Yao for yourself, your cat, your dog, your birdie.
Cross your fingers that I get through 3rd week and 3rd month and beyond.

Re: Tinkerbell - Love of a flying grey parrot in Taiwan
You would not want me around when you made your mash because I would have to eat too much of the fruits before you mashed them. Are the Chairman Kaga bell peppers sweet? I never heard of them over here in the US.
I am happy Jackie flew away from Seiben and you do really need to be careful and make sure Seiben is locked up when Jackie is out because cats will be cats and they do like to hunt birds. I am happy Seiben isn't afraid of you and in his cat head he knows exactly why you were mad and why you chased him. In my American way I have to say he came to you that night to "kiss butt" and say he was sorry for chasing Jackie. I am happy you understood why and decided to be nice to him that night.
Congratulations on giving up smoking!!! It has to be one of the hardest things in life to give up but it is so worth it. I bet food tastes better now and I hope you dont let that Nic back into your life again.

boomergirl,
I called the sweet bell peppers Chairman Kaga as he always took an iconic bite from one when he started his Iron Chef show.
I am still holding out past week 3.
As for Sieben and Jackie, read this and cross your fingers for all of us.

Wow, seeing the pictures with Jackie and Sieben so close to each other is both scary but yet so exciting because that is a huge step for all of you so that everybody in your house can live in peace with each other. I dont think I would ever be brave enough to let a bird get that close to a cat but I know your smart enough to know it was OK to do it.
The words that Karen Pryor wrote about you are so nice and I think your a wonderful bird man with a huge heart for all beasties.
Good job on not smoking, it looks like you are on your way to a better life without that nasty Nic in your life.

Deanna,
If I reported fully on Sieben in last report, you be even more paranoid.
But it got better.

Re: Tinkerbell - Love of a flying grey parrot in Taiwan
Your pictures of Jackie and Sieben still make me nervous Shanlung but I know you are a animal whisperer and you know exactly how to handle Sieben and keep Jackie safe. It has to hurt your heart to leave your pets and go away but it least your wife is home to take care of them. I hope if someone does come and take Jackie she will be safe and please tell them if they release her to take pictures of it for us who follow your blogs. Jackie is so pretty and has come such a long way since you first got her.
I hope you dont give in to your cravings and it is going to be hard when others are around you smoking. Try to think about how good you feel now, how wonderful food tastes now and just how hard it was for you to go cold turkey and especially how good life is and how much you want to live to be a very old man. With Nic in your life it is cutting life shorter. My husband tries hard to give it up and he has cut down to only smoking at work and never at home. It works for him and keeps him sane when he is at work where others smoke. If he drinks he smokes but still never by me so I cant complain. He is weaker then you so try hard not to start up again while your away. I smoked but I got something called TMJ which made my head hurt and feel like it was splitting in two each time I took a puff so it was easy for me to quit because of how bad it made my head hurt. I am very thankful to have Jaw problems because I am now free of old Nic and he will never be back even now that my jaw is all better. I was a lucky one because watching my husband try to quit makes me know it is a very hard thing to do. I wish you lots of luck and hope to hear from you still while your working.
Fly Free Boomer, we will forever love you.
