    Bleeding wing

Hey everyone, I have a question. I have received an email about someone giving away a pair of tiels and I am most likely getting them. One thing that the person brought up in the email was that the female's wing tends to bleed a little after she tries to fly or use the wing (shes clipped). What could that be? My first thought is that it was a broken blood feather that clots a little bit then when she tries to fly and use it, the clot breakes and it bleeds a little then clots again and so on..... She hasnt seen a vet for this yet though. What do you guys think it is? If it is the blood feather, I will pull it out as soon as I get them.

    Thanks!

    Re: Bleeding wing

That sounds the most logical, but you should probably ask how long this has been going on.
