Egg's Cracking...
Possible Nesting?
I've read alot that some times Budgies will kick out all their food from their food dish and then nest in them. Kiki our female (I think) has been doing that alot lately, but most of the time she just 'baths' in the food. Is this normal? Is she trying to hint to Izumi that she wants to mate? I think she's only like 4 months old at the oldest.

Okay. I wasn't sure. This is the first time I've ever owned budgies. ^-^

At 4 months, she is still a baby. She is probably kicking the food out to find her favorite items or perhaps in protest because she doesn't like what is there. Or, she may be digging down trying to find food.
How often do you fill the dishes with fresh food? If you don't refill the seed dishes with fresh seeds every day, you need to blow the top layer of hulls off the seeds so that your budgies can get to the seeds. They can't dig through a layer of hulls because they will get everything up their nostrils.

I change their food everyday, and if I don't, the hulls always get blown off. I'm in the process of getting her to try new foods, so that might be the reason.
