    Ceiling toys

So I went to Petsmart today and just got a few things....some blocks and a hut that are for mice and hamsters...planning on adding to my ceiling toys. Also, I knowticed that a lot of people, including my breeder, have those round ball type things for ferrets with the randome giant holes in them. I couldn't find it at petsmart and wanted to know where yall got them. Thanks
The ball is like the one here at Drfostersmith

Could anyone identify this rope....I found it in a craft box and I know no one else will use it, so if anyone can guess at it that would rock! thanks It looks and feels like sisal, but ya never know

That looks like Sisal. But sometimes Sisal is treated or oiled or something like that so do you know if it's natural?

It's not treated...I found some with treated not too long ago, difference. I know sometimes they make stuff that is fake and w/e, so just making sure.

How do you do ceiling toys? I mean like how to hook them too? I live in a double wide and am not sure if it would be safe to hang. I know Hailey likes to climb and swing!!

There are a few ways....the best way I have found is to get those little plastic hooks that are used for hanging plants from the ceiling....they work really well and if you want you can cover the hook part with a bit of PVC pipe so they can't get to the hook or ceiling.

Youo don't have to worry about them pulling out? I know Hailey gets swinging around pretty hard!

    Re: Ceiling toys

I think you can get a "brace" or something, that you put on the end of the screw, so you can drill a hole for the hook, and then when you put it in, the brace will fan out and keep the hook from falling out. I'm not really sure what they would be called though. Sorry.
