    Is glue safe?

I was just wondering. My husband wants to build some wooden things for Max our tiel. Is glue safe to use on something that birds will chew? We know to use only vegetable dyes and no paints or varnishes. He has a wooden play gym already but it fits together without anything. We were thinking of some type of feeder. Any thoughts?

no, glue is not safe... try and get some screws or nails with no zinc in them, that would be safe...
You can die the wood using food colouring, it's safe
