    price of conure

Do you think $375 is too expensive for a peachfront conure raised by a breeder (very friendly, etc)?

Not if you really 'match' with said bird...I have seen them online for 300, but I'm not sure if thats a good deal or not.

    Re: price of conure

I don't think that is too expensive. I have seen conures in pet stores being sold for around $500-600 (Yikes!).

Cockatiels- JayJay, Jackie, Cosmo, Precious, Dakota, Jasper, Layla, Luna, Zazu and Teasel
    B&G Macaw- Charlie
Cats- Bosco, Abby, Bear, Molly, Max and Buddy

Alot has to do with location also. My Pico cost $100.00 He was being sold as a "breeder".
Here in Florida a peachfront baby can be had for $150.00 from a breeder.

I think that is reasonable...esp. since it is from breeder.

Kingsley Michigan sells them for $100. Green Cheeks too(including cinnamon) I am pretty sure she ships. That is where we got Ace. The only place we saw the peach front conure.

$100 for a cinnimon?!?! I want one! I wonder why they're so cheap? Cricket was $275, can't remember what I've seen cinimons for, maybe around the same at bird fairs.

    Re: price of conure

She told me that a friend and her breed alot so that people could afford them. She has a nice place. The cinnamon sold before we got there. I think she sold us the brattist green cheek she could find! I wouldn't mind going thru her again. Kept her number! When we were there she showed us a McCaw that she had just sold to a lady in NY. We looked at a peach but it was bonded to her young daughter and wanted nothing to do with us.
