pet store abuse

I went to the pet store earlier to look at their birds. Usually their birds look alright, there are things i wish they would do better but for a pet store they do good. Toay though I was very concerened. They had one cage with two lutino cockatiels in it. They were in the very top cage, almost out of view. when i looked into the cage both of them had very stringy tail feathers. Their tailfeathers were in strands. Otherwise they looked OK but I'm not sure because i couldnt get a good look. Is this something serious??

It could be that the cage was too small. You never know how many birds were crammed in there before you went in. We've all seen some pretty terrible conditions in pet stores before.

Ya...the cage was definitly too small, its a shame pet stores dont take more pride into caring for such great pets
