    We have new growth!

I know I might be getting excited over nothing but Sprite our rescue goffins has new growth on his wings and tail!!!!

I am so happy! I hope he leaves them alone long enough to actually grow some feathers. One has grown out on his wing, another is starting on his "elbow" and another on his tail! Check it out...WOOHOOO SPRITE!

I've been making toy after toy and we've been keeping him as busy as we can to keep him distracted from his feathers. It appears to be paying off for now!

What kind of toys have you been making, I've been trying to do the same things with my Brown Head.

Hope they are the first of many. Know that feeling so well. It has been 3 months here of no plucking and I still get up every morning afraid to look at the bottom of the cage. Find myself looking to the bottom of the cage when Molly is left in it for anytime.

that's excellent news. keep up the good work. and if sprite does mutilate these new ones, don't lose heart. it is a hard pattern to break...

Wonderful news and you have the right to get excited over it! I know we did when our goffins finally started to let feathers come in. There is always hope.
