    Our eggs have hatched

Both females she said! The most unfortunate part of this is we now have a boy named Sue. The most darling part is squirming away in the box I gave the two (and I'm happy I did now -- better than on the FLOOR like they wanted it). Oh, who wouldn't fall in love with these teeny tiny little babies?

I thought something was wrong when I heard "heavy breathing" coming form the boxes, and color me surprised when I looked inside, and tiny, pink nymphs were squirming and demanding food. Oh, babies! Does anyone here handfeed theirs? I'm more familiar with large parrots. If you do, when do you pull? Oh, I can't wait until they're more prepared to have pictures taken of them. It's too cute to resist. In fact, I will brave one tomorrow morning.

There goes my zero maintenance Lovebird plan! Wowee, back to the pipette in anoher week or so.

i think you have leave them with the parents for about two weeks. then, you can pull them out from their nest and handfeed them.
