    Pellet dust ???

    Hi Folks
I'm wondering is there some way to sort of recycle the dust & crumbs from food pellets as it seems such a waste to just toss it out after paying so much for the pellets in the first place.
Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome.
    Thanks

You could cook a sweet potato and mash them into it or mix it in with other foods.

Somewhere I saw the suggestion of putting it into bird bread.

I make a "gravy" with warm water and put it on my dogs' food - they love it! At least someone's eating it!

I totally just made a mix thing. I used the pellet dust, a small amount of bread, corn and broccoli and blended it all together. My birds adore it.

Waste not want not...great ideas everyone. I will often times grind the pellets in my coffee grinder to make a powder just for the types of uses mentioned. It's a good way to hide them if your birds are "anti-pellet.
