Hi Paula, There are a bunch of different lory diets out there to try. Personally I use a lory food called Quiko. It's a powder that you mix with water to make lory nector. I also add in fruit and vegetable baby foods with very low iron because lories are prone to an iron storage disease. I also add in a nector juice called Rubicon or you can used Ceres juice. You can buy these at the grocery store. Just make sure you don't give them apple juices, citrus juices, or anything really acidic. I also give my lory a small dish of pretty bird lory pellets. This seems to be working for him and he loves his food and there is never any left over.
