    possible scam??

Does this price list look like it might be a scam? They seem pretty low across the board but particulary the ones in red. I sent him an email asking if he was closing out or what. It also seems like it would be hard to breed this many breeds and do it well. What do you guys think????

That he uses an escrow service for payment makes me think he might be legit. Isn't that where you pay money into an account and until you receive the item you are buying?

Look at this link. Almost the same price list (same misspelled words) but different name and location.

Yeah, definitely a scam. There's no way you can sell an MM2 for $400, and if they were for some reason, it's gone by now! Definitely a scam. People are jerks.

    Re: possible scam??

OK...I sent emails to each ad and got the exact same generic response so it is most definately a scam. Check out this link. This is a breeder in CA who had some of her copyrighted pictures lifted from her website by a Camaroon scammer. Pay special attention to the "talking baboon" offer (hey....someone is trying to SELL my ex-husband???? )

I love how the list has 10 trillion species on it.

And "palm cockatoos" for $400. Those birds are RARE.

    Wow...

I *just* saw an add not three days ago, I forgot where. It was a bonded pair, an African gray and a macaw. Funny thing...there were nine listings made within the same two days, with the SAME EXACT misspellings and typos and the same exact pair, from all over the country. Hmm....I wonder.

That talking baboon one is funny. Seriously do people actually fall for this?

I work at a job that sees a lot of this in similar situations...and people fall for it a lot. I do not know how they don't see right through it, but somehow they don't. Most people don't...but the scammers aren't looking for most people...they're looking for that .05% of people that do fall for it.

    Re: possible scam??

I just wanted to add that the escrow thing is actually very dangerous. People do that all the time on eBay because they know people will trust an escrow. Nine times out of ten if you think something sounds fishy and then they mention escrow it's a scam for sure. People use fake escrow companies that they just made up to steal your money. This guy probably doesn't have any parrots. I'm sure he's also selling dogs, horses, Xboxess on eBay. Some people will do anything for a buck.
