Pics/is my budie pied recessive/is he male?

Hi, all.
I just got my first budgie, Buford about a week ago, and I'm not sure what his 'color form' is... I think he might be a pied recessive, but I really have no idea... I also want to make sure he is a boy... this pictures aren't great, but I hope they work. He's mostly white, with grey/blue stripes... and his cere is pinkish/purple in the middle, and blue towards the edges.

Also, am I correct to assume he's reletively young? The bars are gone from by his cere, but he doesn't have the light right around his eye.

Also, in one picture he looks like he has red eyes, but it's just from the flash... They're very dark.

He is definately a young bird, I would say he looks like a SHE because the nostrals on the cere are circled with white - indicating female. Color would be a Dilute Skyblue.

Most likely male but it is pretty hard to tell from the pics.

Thanks... I'm going to get some better pictures after he's ready to come out of his cage... he already knows 'up' and 'down' but he's still nervous about leaving his home.
