    Cool Stainless Steel.. Baby!!

Jimmy Bullet's new stainless steel cage is here! It's a Featherland 30"x21x64 - woot! Yesterday I authorized it to be delivered today at 5, so I raced home from work just in time to sign for it - then spent the rest of my evening cleaning, assembling, and decorating. It's all done now and back in Jimmy Bullet's spot.

    Bask in its shining glory

It came in 2 boxes and the one was sooo friggin huge. It was longer than my couch!

The little Bullet and the big cage

Voila! Cage is done and Jimmy Bullet is hard at work destroying the pinata.

I got 5/8" bar spacing, but out of curiosity, what is the max width bar spacing for white-capped pis? This will affect the next cage I buy - ie, does Beau get this one and Jimmy Bullet a new bigger one? Or do I buy Beau the same thing?

Lucky lucky birdy!!!! I couldn't even find him in that third pic til I looked closely. How long did the setup take?

Geez, BIGGER than that for the next one? Wouldn't that be a flighted cage? Haha. I know bigger is better but I'm sure that is a great cage for ever.

Wow...what a great looking cage. That would look pretty good sitting at our house with our "herd" in it...but because we live in Canada, we would probably have to sell Jenn's daughter for medical research, my car, a couple of kidneys and win the lottery to be able to pay for it....

    Re: Stainless Steel.. Baby!!

    Thanks Morgan for the dimensions!

It took me about 4 hours to clean the cage, assemble, clean the area to put it, and then toyify. It probably wouldn't have taken as long if the birds didn't insist on helping

The price including shipping was $800. I did quite a bit of shopping around and got shipping quotes, this was the best price I found. W/o shipping costs, I think the cheapest quoted price was a little over $700 (but they wanted a crazy amount for shipping...). However, I can't think of a better way to spend my money!
