I need to see conure cage pictures for ideal cage please.
I want to get Monet a new cage, but I want to see the full view of everyone else cages, and get some recomendations from people.
I have a cage like this for my tiel Danny, and he is very happy in there with the large size. Here is my question: Would a cage like this also be great for Monet?
I originally bought this for both tiels to share, but they don't like each other

I love that cage for my peach front. He has plenty of room in there. Your conure is a green cheek, if I remember correctly? Anything around that size would do really well in that cage. And since it's so big, you can put LOTS of toys in there!
I wouldn't recommend the cage for a big conure, like a blue crown. It's plenty big, but the bar spacing is too small.
Here's an old pic of Louie in the ebay/feather farm version of that cage (the one w/ 2 doors):

Looks like a very good cage to me. You can do any bar spacing between 1/2" and 5/8" for green cheeks.
I'll snap a photo of Beau's cage when I get home. It's a large cube - I am guessing 30x30x30. He's lived in it for the 4 years happily, but I am upgrading it soon to this one, which I also bought for Jimmy Bullet:

For Beau it will virtually be a flight cage.

Beau is soooo lucky! W/ Charlie, it's hard for us to upgrade any cages right now, since he takes up so much room! But Louie's cage (that feather farm one) is definitely big enough. The only one I'd really like to upgrade is Skittles's cage.

There are a lot of affordable options if you are going powder-coated. I love stainless steel, but it is a pain in the butt not only because of expense, but also not many companies make good ones so you're really limited to the size, shape and bar spacing you can get.
What dimensions do you want for Skittles, Christina? I can send you some links.

I love the stainless ones also, but could never ever afford one, so I am limited to powder coated cages. I guess I will just buy another one like I bought for the tiels only a different color for Monet.
Should I get light grey or sand? I think he will look better in light grey, but sand would look better in the room lol. He may look ok in that color as well though.

Well, I want something with around a 32" width. Maybe even bigger, if it were affordable. I usually spoil my birds w/ big cages, but Skittles missed out since he was an unexpected addition to our flock and I had to get a cage ASAP. Just out of curiousity, what are the dimensions on Jimmy Bullet's new stainless steel cage?

Christina - Jimmy Bullet's cage is 21" deep x 30" long x 64" high. The next size up in that brand is 28" deep x 42" long x 66" high - but it has a 1" bar spacing instead of 5/8". It is a $400 difference, but I think worth it. I ordered Jimmy Bullet's cage from www.birdscomfort.com. Yugisoft.com has decently priced SS cages too, I am looking at an even bigger one there for a future edition.... No idea what brands they carry though, it wasn't readily marked.
Here is a photo of Beau's messy cage!

Re: I need to see conure cage pictures for ideal cage please.
Thanks for the links, Brock! I'm really excited! I think I'll be in a position to get Skittles a new cage in a few months, especially since I'm moving, so it'll work out great. Jimmy Bullet's cage sounds like perfect dimensions for Skittles. It's nice to know you have the cage and are happy with it.
"a future edition"? Are you thinking of getting another bird? If so, what kind?
Yikes, I think we're taking over this thread...lol.

monet is a gcc right? that cage would be fine for monet...I have that cage for my budgies...and the similar HQ cage for my GCC...they're pretty much the same cage and it's big enough for my gcc to roam all over.

yes he is a ysgcc.
thanks everyone, I guess I have decided to get the same cage, just a different color for monet. Please help me decide since I cannot.
Here is my next question:
Color of cage should be Light grey or Sand?

I'd go with sand since it matches the room. Monet will probably be out of his cage more than in it
light grey and sand are close in color so I don't think Monet won't look good in the sand. Let us know what you go with!

Re: I need to see conure cage pictures for ideal cage please.
I have a brand new parrot cage that I am trying to sell. It's white, made by Avian Adventures, the Mediana Playtop. I measured my space incorrectly and it's too big. It's never been used, and it's an awesome cage. I'm asking best offer over $350 for it, which is still a big financial hit for me, since I paid a lot more than that for it. I'm in SE Michigan and it would have to be picked up---cannot deliver it. If anyone here is interested or knows anyone that might be, please email me at Kiwisoo05@yahoo.com. Thanks!
