    watery poop?

    Howdy!

Yesterday after Trippy's wonderful showertime, I noticed that his poop was watery. Like, it wasn't the little poop balls that he normally poops..it was sorta soupyish. I figured it was because he had tons o' water in the shower. Well, I noticed it again today, except its a little more together. The color is normal, its just like the solids are not the majority like they usually are.....Any ideas/suggestions?

Boomer gets waterey poo after his baths and showers but usually it clears up within maybe a hour at the most, his turns to what we call pee becuase it is almost all water. I would keep a eye on Trippy and if the poos dont go back to normal maybe a vet visit could be needed.

    Re: watery poop?

It's very normal right after bathing. Penny's first poop after a shower is always watery. Poor bird never gets held after he showers until he poops once first

I don't know why it would still be watery today that, it's always just one poop then back to normal.

I think i heard it can be watery if they drink a lot too.

Has it been watery every poop between yesterday's shower and today?

yep all of mine have that watery stool thing happening for an hour or so afterwards
theyre saturated so maybe they feel a bit stressed...just a theory...dont know how safe a saturated bird feels

they seem to enjoy the shower tho...
    maybe its not stress afterall
