dont worry..should grow back
check that yr cage is big enough and that the bird isnt bashing up against the bars
of course a few awful nightfrights will do the trick and the tail can get very frayed looking again
but hopefully after a few months the feathers will grow
happened to one of my tiels and even to some budgies
his cage is heaps big enough cause petety is in there to and his tail is really nice! And we have only ever had two night frights where nothing was damaged. I think it may be from him being a little crazy. he jumps around the cage like a moron lol

Aw that's a cute little duck butt
We have a budgie that i think it doomed to never have tailfeathers, i think some birds are just that way for some reason. Maybe they hide their vitamins under their pillows like my kids did when they were little
reminds me of danny's butt, however danny's is not as nice. and danny's cage is huge too.
