Great ebook!Thank you for sharing it!
Toys are always fun for our birds and fun to make!
Foraging for food is such a great way for us to enrich our bird's lives!Keeping them active and their minds stimulated will make them happier and healthier. And be more the birds they are meant to be!Their wild cousins spend most of their day searching and foraging for food.We make it to easy and they get bored.

    Great link.

I agree about foraging. It's not like it's boring for them to forage either, it keeps their minds active and constantly thinking. I have several foraging items on and in the birds cages. On Amaretto's I have a coconut and I put seed (his weekly treat) in it with a bunch of other stuff (toys, paper, etc.) so he has to take things out, move things around... He spends a good 2 hours doing it and seems to be satisfied with himself afterwards.

That is just awsome! I am definetly going to use some of those ideas, In fact I have already dyed some wood for toys and also had my hubby cut up a phone book on his band saw and my lovebird thinks he is in 7th heaven shredding it apart! Thanks for sharing.
