Re: cage is here!!!!!!!!!!
okay here are the first pictures i took of the cages this morning before i went to school. got home late so i couldnt take pics of the birds inside with the 3 foot long perches. i haven't furnished their cages yet, so it's still bare inside. oh, and i wasn't able to take pics of the cages with people as a size reference. tomorrow i will post again. this time with birds inside and the perches.
i wasn't able to transfer them myself, because when i got home at about 6, there they were! our house boy transferred them around 3 pm, when i was already at school. he said he didn't have a problem with Jack coming out. instead, Jack climbed out by himself once his door was open. Polly was more of a problem because she doesn't really like him much. anyway here are the pics already!
okay, this is the view from the second floor. i took it from the hallway. the cages are in the lanai. i'm not sure what lanai is in english, the closest would probably be patio or something like that. that's where all the birds stay once they're brought in at 5 pm every day. it's their bedroom, so to speak.

and this is the not so clear close up of the cage (the nearest i could get with the whole thing in the frame).

another shot of the two cages.

Becky: i'm sure Brock's cage is larger than what i ordered. the one Brock has is 4 weet WIDE! and mine is 4 feet tall, 3 feet wide. all stainless steel with wheels
total cost: $360. a lot of you guys said it's a steal, and i now know why. i thought that 4 feet was small!! my dad and i were staring dumbstruck at the cages the night they arrived. he suggested i put a tree in the cage, and hinted at getting a macaw!!!!!

Awesome pics! And I agree, your house IS beautiful! The birds' new houses seem awesome, too! You have some beautiful babies!! How are they adjusting?
How many birds do you have? And in your first set of pics, you said they come into the lanai (which, by the way, is called the same in English- they're just not as common here where we don't have tropical weather all the time!). Where are the at that they come in from? Do you keep them out all day?

Great cages and home. Looks like 3 foot wide by 3 foot deep, and you say 4 foot tall. They have a used cage at the local store, not stainless, 3 foot square, not sure on how tall but tall, playtop and they only want $475 which is a good price for here in Ohio. Love large cages, you can put so much stuff in them for the birds.
