Not in Texas - Back HOME!

Not leaving until Thursday or Friday. I am having the time of my life! It's been a lot of hard work getting this place organized, but its been a lot of fun as well.

The puppies are all beautiful, but one little girl stood out - she follows me EVERYWHERE and has just attached herself to me.

Meet Scarlet Susanah Belle (Rosa Bella Grace just didn't fit her).

She is a little pistol and has LOTS and by lots I mean LOTS and LOTS of energy! She's a smart little cookie too. Her binky (um, yeah, she has a pacifier) was on the bed. She wanted it and I told her no. She politely jumped on the suitcase, went from the suitcase to the chair, from the chair to the desk, from the desk to the nightstand and from the nightstand to the bed where she happily grabbed her binky!

Will try to post more later. I have a TON more pics! I think I'm leaving either Thursday or Friday. I'm really having a lot of fun here, but I miss my birds! Oh, and I miss my husband too!

I can't wait for Susanah's hair to grow so I can do something with it! She is going through that awkward phase now

She has great hair, its just still a little too short for a topknot.

that bay is absolutely precious. I wish I could have one. Guess I'll have to be satisfied with pics of miss Scarlet. She looks like a real sweetheart

Little miss Susanah Banana there is the devil in disguise. That little mind of hers is constantly planning and plotting her next mischievious adventure. I swear she wakes up in the morning and thinks, "Hmmmm What kind of trouble can I get into today?"

Is she a miniature Yorkie? She is adorable. She has that little teddy bear face that everyone will fall in love with. Congratulations

Yep, she's a yorkie. We are predicting her weight to be about 5 pounds when she is full grown. That's right within breed standard (3 - 7 lbs).

What a gorgeous pup, and an ADORABLE name! I just love it. I thought you were going with a silver? Little miss have other plans for you?

I did want a silver. I wanted an exact replica of Annie-Belle. Then Susanah walked up to me and said, "I want to go home with you."

She is very different from Annie-Belle. She is darker and a little bigger. Her personality is different. She is a hyper little troublemaker!

I'm glad she is different. I think if she looked and acted like Annie-Belle then I'd never heal from the pain of losing her. I think I would be constantly comparing the two of them instead of letting Susanah be herself and loving her for her.

We are back home now and let me tell you what the little sh*t did. Now, the whole time we were in Texas she was right with me. She followed so close behind me she stepped on my heels. So we got back home and then Mike walked in. She hopped right up in his lap and has been with HIM ever since. In fact, we went to bed last night and she walked right over and curled up in HIS arms!

I am VERY glad to be back home. I missed my birdies! They missed me too! You've never heard so much noise in your life.

We stopped and spent Friday night in New Orleans and it was great! We were right on the French Quarter and you can still see a lot of damage from the hurricane, but everyone was in good spirits and they are rebuilding. There was still music on every corner!

After leaving New Orleans we went to the beach in Biloxi and Susanah played in the ocean.

All in all we had a great 2 weeks!
