    Why do budgies scream!?

Why do budgies scream??? I mean, my boyfriend has a budgie named Jackie (shes not in pain and seems quite spoilt XD) But she REALLY loves to fly around and scream, along with screwing everything up Im just wondering why do they scream??? Is it because they're angry or want something? Or just plain because they like to scream?? XD

They do it because they can...it's just what budgies do. Exactly what do you mean by..."along with screwing everything up"...that really has me puzzled...

Yup, one of my budgies, Loki, is relatively quiet... Buford, on the other hand, is quiet when he eats or sleeps. Hehe, sometimes it's a bit grating, but I just think about everything else they bring to my life and realize the screaming isn't so bad after all.

Do you notice they tend to be more vocal in the morning and early evening? Mine are, and that's just instinctual.. it's how they would round up all the members of their flock if they were living in the wild.
