    Talking New Indian Ringneck

Yippie - I got yet another bird, a beautiful Lutino Ringneck, he is adorable and so sweet. I have been eyeing this bird for some time and falling in love with him also and I decided to get him. He is not completely weaned yet, so won't be ready to come home for another 1-2 weeks, but he's mine and coming home soon. Yay - I am so happy and can't wait for the arrival.

    Re: New Indian Ringneck

Yea, I know I just got Becca and she has been great!!!! The IRN and Becca actually came from the same place and when I first went there my eye fell towards Becca and the IRN, however Becca was older and ready to go home and the IRN was and is still hand feeding. Plus they told me that Becca is a really easy bird to deal with and I wanted to go with that first.

I was back there today and I visited with the IRN who in the back of my mind knew I would want to get him and I have had my eye on him for some time. Anyway, the one who sold me Becca was there today and we Chatted about how Becca is doing and about the IRN and then I visited with the IRN and fell in love all over again. She told me that alot of people are interested in him and if I am interested also it would be best to put a deposit down since I am going away on Thursday plus she much rather him to go me as she knows he will have a good home.

Anyway, to make a long story short instead of putting the deposit down I paid in full and am just waiting until he is ready.

I know, my flock has grown super fast - but hey, I'm crazy for birds.

Haha! Sounds just like me. I got Momo in 5/16/07 and almost two months later I'm up to four birds, and still on the hunt for a male parrotlet. It's crazy, but I'm loving every second of it.

Congrats on the IRN. I considered one for a bit, but decided against it. They are so beautiful and sweet. I can't wait to see some pics and hear about his homecoming!!
