Name suggestions for my new WF 'Tiel?

I am looking for name suggestions for my new whiteface 'Tiel if anyone has any thoughts. She is young and still small and a real sweetheart. She is also as cute as can be. I am not sure of her Sex though I am getting her tested with Cinnamon once the kits arrive. I am looking for a sweet, but not really common name and something different, any suggestions out there? I like the name Mikaela, and if it turned out to be a boy you could just call it Mikey or Mickey.

Dottie came to mind...she reminds me of someone I know named Dottie(short for Dorothy). LOL But I also like Mikaela. Mikey is cute...I was going to name Cricket that at first...still think that would be a good tiel name.

Okay everyone - Question for whoever can help .................

I like alot of the names a whole lot thanks to Nathan for posting so many . One that really stuck out to me though was "Asher" I really like that name and plus her being grey and white and ashes being that color also it seems kinda cool. However, I am not completely set on that I am still thinking it over as I have other names which I also like alot. Anyhow ... here is the question - Is Asher considered to be a male or female name or both? Nathan has it on the Female name list and I just found a site that says male.

Weather it is true or just your opnion what does everyone think - Asher a female or males name or both?

By the way as I am typing this the new WF is fast asleep on my shoulder. Everytime I try and put her on the table she just climbs up my arm, she just wants to be near me and just is fast asleep on my shoulder looking very cute and content. I thought I would share that!

How sweet! It sounds as though she is comfortable and settled in - and loves you already! All those visits while she was weaning must have really helped make the transition easy for her.

i am in the exact same predicament with my new Tiel...also a whiteface its so hard to think of names eh? i am thinking Lunar Polo or maybe Casper for mine. keep the lists coming Kirby MGA828 i may as well use this thread to look at names too, rather than starting a whole new thread the same... and i like Asher for your one (who looks gorgeus btw!) congrats on your new Tiel (whatever she/he will be called)

its hard when u cant sex them and if feels weird when u have this girly name for what turns out to be a boy....takes forever for them to really act like their gender and by that time the name has stuck so i really try to give a unisex name unless im sure

I also REALLY like the name, and was excited when i thought of it! There was the cutest grey parrot at the Toronto Zoo one time i went, and its name was Asher... he was a doll!!!!!!!!

No, not yet - I am still waiting for the kit, but once the kit arrives believe me that the samples will be taken and mailed out right away.

Okay guys - I liked many of the names that were listed on this thread, but three have really stuck out to me.

1. Asher
2. Skyler
3. Fiji
But I like Asher and Skyler the best! Out of the three which does everyone like best and thinks suits her the best. Would you consider those three all unisex names, I think I would, but wanted other opinions. I am still not 100% sure if I am going to settle on with of those, but figured I would see what you guys thought of these names.

Skyler feels to budgie-like to me... that would suit a blue budgie. I can't see it fitting a grey tiel hehe. I just put it in the list becuase it is a cute unisex name lol

Fiji is really cute, and i think it suit's it too! But Asher is better in my mind lol Good luck either way! Im happy you have used 3 of the names i helped you with! hehe It shows my looong lists do pay off lol

Aww, Slate is a cute name and I do like it, but I think I like Asher better. For some reason I am really stuck on Asher. . Maybe I should call her Asher a few times and see if it fits her at all.

Of those three I like Asher the best.
Another name that would suit is Luna. We named my normal whiteface Luna and he looked a lot like your whiteface does when we got him. We didn't know his sex at the time so we tried to pick a unisex name.

lol thats a good idea! See if it suits her! I certainly thinks it does... and i looked at her picture everytime i thought of the names. Asher was one of the best suited ones... i also thought Indy and Cocoa did hehe
