    How to maintain vocal skills?

We got a company for our tiel - it's another male bird whose previous owners have taught him to wistle very melodically. He wistles some tunes really well. The problem is that nobody can wistle his tunes in our family and I am afraid that Lucky will forget all his repertoire very soon if we don't maintain his vocal training. Am I right? Should we record him on tape and let him listen to it regularly?

Sounds like a good idea diana. I know that they are very in tune with all the sounds around them and playing a tape of him whistling would re-enforce his voice imprint.
I had tiels that picked up on almost everything from TV. He especially liked and mimed Ice Hockey referees blowing their whistles for some reason.
