Found a way to get Taz to eat Fruits and Veggies

I made a mush out of cooked carrot, cooked broccoli, orange juice and seed and tried it with Taz and he loves it.
I guess I'm gonna be trying all kinds of new creations to mix. He actually likes it better than his straight seed. The person who gave me this idea also gave me a good idea how to make some small treat sticks with the dehydrator.

YOu know those trail mix for humans?
They have dried bananas, etc.
How about those?

dehydrated foods are okay, in which you dehydrate them yourself, at your home

The prepackaged ones should not be fed if they use sulfur in the drying process (most human foods do). They ingredients will say

they are high in sugars, as well, so should be fed sparingly

.

many vitamins are lost inthe drying process, so they can't take the place of fresh fruits and veggies

The basic treat stick thing was cut strips of bread and roll them into jelly and then in seed and lay them on the fruit roll up tray and dry them.

Cool trick. I'll try it myself. Parsley eats only 4 veggies ( peas, corn, lettuce and brocolli) and refuses all the others.

you are lucky, my budgie wont eat anything green, red or veggie colour.no matter what i try. i heard onions are poisonus to budgies, as are avacados. and abviously chcolate and that sorta stuff, but what is so toxic in avacados? we eat them?
and also the teflon non stick pans? whats in them, i know they give of very toxic fumes. did u know they have started makin t shirts containing teflon, i saw them in the shops. also some hair straighteners contain teflon in the non stick plates. who knew?? there ya go......
