    awesome set up

I may be biased since it is mine. I was unhappy with the other one so went to Lowes and spent about $100 ro build a bigger better cage, it is actually 2 cages. Now I am building my own breeder cages. And I may just plan on building cages and selling them since I enjoy it so much.

    Would love feedback!

    Re: awesome set up

    Well it depends.

If it is two cages than each cage is 2ft wide, 28 1/2 deep, 30in tall.

If it is one cage it is 5ft long s 2ft wide and 2 feet tall.

Took awhile to make since we made the base too. We are working on a pull out tray to go under it but so far I think they like it. 2 of the birds actually play with toys now when they didn't in the old cage.

There are 2 birds in once cage and 4 in the other. The one with 4 is about to become two as I plan on pulling a pair and putting them in a breeding cage. So there will be 2 in each cage. I will post photos of the breeder cage once it is done Cockatiels are such WONDERFUL animals to have. They bring so much happiness! I love letting them all out and most can fly a good bit so they go here in there and it is so cute

Thanks so much! We spent a lot of time on it/them (since it is technically 2 cages) And I was very happy with how it turned out.

They're very nice, assuming all the materials you used are bird safe... i think they're fanstastic

The only thing my tiels might object to is being that low to the ground. They're nosey little bits, and the natural bird instict seems to make them feel safer when they're higher up

    Well done, truly!

    Re: awesome set up

They don't seem to mind being where they are, I catch some of them running back and forth along the bottom while the dog sits and watched them. I judged it from a lot of the cages around here just instead of doing a dome top I made it flat which did take a little height off but not a lot. Everything have been cleaned, prepared, and fixed to be bird safe before the birds ever got near it. Thanks It took so long to do!
