    Play Gym Help

    Hey guys!!
Okay I want to build Ulii a play gym with lots of branches and stuff on it, only problem is I don't have very much space for it... So I don't know whether to make a pvc gym that is a little neater or a natural one made of tree branches??? I would really appreciate your pics and opinions thanks!!!

I think that one of the cheapest ways to build a play gym is with PVC pipe. You could probably build a nice tabletop playstand for around $5.00 if you buy the parts from your local hardware store. Then, if you have any sisal rope, you can wrap that around the perch to give your baby a better grip.

    Good luck!

I think that the most important thing is to make sure the base is big enough, if not it will tip over. I just nailed a large branch to a sturdy board, the good thing with natural perches is that they come in every size, if you find the right branch it could fit perfectly in a limited amount of space.

If space is a problem, try those folding drying racks. You can add all kinds of things to it to make it very nice. When you are letting a bird out, put sheet/towel/newspaper/tablecloth down, open the rack and let the fun begin. When done, fold the rack up and shack the cloth out or toss the newspaper. Works great for the smaller guys, not the best for the larger ones.
