Rufio just always looks cute. He loves when I get the camera out. He'll sit in one position until it clicks, then move to something else and wait to hear a click. I think he only does it because I get so excited when he lets me take good pictures.

Man is he PRETTY! I saw a Red Bellied parrot at PetCo (boo) and I've only ever seen one once before. He was sooo cute but he wouldn't come out he wasn't tame...poor guy!

I saw a redbellied at this bird show I went to, but her colors were not as vibrant as rufios...

Then you most likely saw a female. Red-bellied parrots are one of the few species that are sexually dimorphic. Females tend to have a greener belly with an orange wash.

Come to think of it, he did say it was a redbellied hen...so that would explain why she didn't look as vibrant as Rufio.
I just love poi's. My Scooter is such a little love bug.
