    Talking first successful clutch

Lacey & Cody have finally had their first healthy clutch. They laid 5 eggs and only two of them were fertile. The babies hatched on April10th and April14th. We had a bit of a rough patch when mom and dad decided to abandon the nest when the chicks were 12 and 8 days old. Thankfully I found them soon enough. They responded to being hand fed instantly and started gaining weight left and right. They are now 4 weeks old and doing beautifully.
I've taken pictures of the from day one. Here's the link for them.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/2635906...7604928028652/

Thank you Ellen and Brandon for the comments. I am entering the cinnamon baby in an upcoming bird show. He/she is very large and the feathers have a shine to them that I've never seen before. I'm really please with their turn out

Cinnamon and Blackie took their very first flight yesterday. They are both doing so well. It's an absolute incredible feeling watching them take off. The bird show is June 1st so I'll let you all know how it goes. I'm really excited. Then in September there is another bird show and I'll be entering their mom "Lacey".
