What do you suggest next?

Well, as many of you know I have an 8-ish month old IRN. I have been trying to hand-tame him and at the moment he is happy to take food from my hand in a friendly way. Come up to the side of the cage when I call his name(unless he is eating because he loves to eat) and yea. What would you suggest that I do next as he is comfortable around me and happy to take anything from me???

It's time to go for scritches or step-ups, whichever he seems more comfortable with your hands doing.

Is he okay with your hands being inside his cage if you have a treat?

Yeah, I was gonna suggest putting your hand in the cage, and having him take a treat from your hand. Then, progress to having the treat in the palm of your hand and further from him, so that he has to make an effort to get it (hopefully, he'll eventually hop on your arm). Once you get him comfy being on your arm, see if he'll come out of the cage, perched on your arm?

ok, I will try putting my hand in the cage with the treat on it...I don't really think he could EVER resist a peanut!
