Hello!
Hello Bird Forumers. I thought I'd take the time to formally introduce myself.
I am Roxy and am usually a dog forumer, myself. I have two Rough Collies and a German Shepherd, which I will post pics of as soon as I can figure out what happened to my photobucket account. It went weird on me after two years and now won't show pictures. Dakota is my GSD. She's a rescue that my husband fostered and ended up adopting at 6 months. She's a wonderful, loving dog who is now 4 years old. Faith is my almost 5 year old blue merle Rough Collie. She's perfect. There is no other way to describe her. Then there is Dixie. She's now 16 months. We got her at 6 months as a private adoption. She had a severe case of demodex mites and was absolutely miserable. It took 6 months and a lot of money (I'm afraid to add it all up) to fix her, but she's now doing great. She's a total mommas girl and a purebred love. She and I will be starting our Rally Obedience competitions in a couple weeks. I have no expectations of her, lol, just want to give it a try.
I also have three cats. Sig is a black and white tuxedo male that hates people and the world. He lives outside 100% of the time by choice. Whitey Kitty is a stray that we recently discovered hanging out with Sig. He is sweet and has started coming inside at night. He gets along great with the dogs and other cats. And then CAT. He's an orange tabby kitten that I've always wanted. He's a complete nut, but I love him to death. He's 100% indoor. I wish they all were, but Sig chooses to stay outside and howls and sprays when inside. Whitey might become indoors, but he is a stray, so we'll see.
Let's see... what else might I have... hamsters? No. Rabbits? No. Bird? Oh yeah, lol, it is a bird forum after all.
Meet Rosco P. Birdrain. I originally had named him Daisy Duke until I found out not long after getting him that she was a he. I had a Daisy, Bo and Luke, all clutch mates. I chose Rosco because I had never known such a sweet, cuddly bird. He's become my sidekick. If we can get through some of these behavior issues he's having, life will be grand with my little Green Cheek. He's now eight months old and becoming a little jerk. I love him anyway.
And here is my baby boy. I would post regular pics if I could figure out why photobucket is completely gone for my computer. But, this is cute anyway.

I'm about two hours south of Rochester. Was just there the other day for the first time. I am originally from Ohio, then moved to Cali to get married and now live in NY. LOL, I think we'll move back to Ohio in a couple years for good, though. I can't wait to be near family again.

Rosco is a dear! I'm sorry I haven't welcomed you until now, but we've talked in other threads. You sure have a lot of beautiful animals!
