    Quacking Conures?

Does anyone else have a "quacking" conure. Roz quacks and I don't think she's ever been around ducks... ever. It's the cutest, most adorable sound and I absolutely love when she does it. It's not quite the sound of a quack, just a little conure sounding quack. I'm trying to get a video of it but everytime I turn the camera on, she stops, lol.

Yep, Cricket does too. It actually reminds me more of a frog croaking, which is sort of how he got his name (okay, who knows how my mind got Cricket from Frog...).

One of our female Nandays, Cricket, sounded like a cricket....which is how she got her name.

However, Sunshine, the momma Sun, sounds like she's doing a cross between a quake and a pomeranian 'woof'. Previous owner has a Pom....

Charlie my Nanday does a funny little croak thing once in a while when he's happy.

Haley honks just like a Canada goose whenever I visit her!

Comet does a bit of quacking but the noise drives me nuts so I don't encourage it.

Des has started quacking quietly - usually when he is on my head. It's kinda cute.
Dee Dee quacks a little bit, but not very often. 90% of the time her noises sound like she is swearing at me under her breath.

Cayenne (sun) makes adorable little grunting noises... I love them. I guess it kinda does sound like a quack, but much quieter. He does it when he's happy to see me, so sweet.
If I stick my hand in his bed at night, he will make his gruntings, and then stick his beak on my finger and bob his head up and down. If I give him fresh food he will run over to it. "grunt quack, grunt quack, grunt grunt grunt", he's hilarious!
