Basket case

I made the tiels a new toy today. Baskets were 50% off at Michaels so I got one and just filled it with stuff I had at home. I got a pack of 200 non-colored popsicle sticks at the dollar store and stuck those all over it. It has pieces of palm leaf shredders in there, paper strips, notecard pieces, bendy straws, little pieces of hay, and who knows what else I stuffed in there. They took about 10 minutes to warm up to it, but since then they've done nothing but fight over it.

Chaucer thought he could sneak in without Angel knowing...

That's one happy little bird!

Oh that's so nice! And I bet it was pretty easy to do too! It turned out so wonderful!! And your tiels are really loving it!

that looks pretty awesome. ya should get some timothy hay from petsmart and put that in there to chew u and maybe add some foot toys to fling about

There is timothy hay in it. They get it all the time because I also have a bunny. I give it to the rats to dig in, too. We loves us some timothy hay in this house.

There are definitely foot toys in there (I think I put a few little baubles and balls in there) but they always just throw those out. Half the fun is finding them, though.

I like that. Beau would probably love something like that, as long as it's made of wicker (we used to have this wicker chair that she loved chewing) and has lots of stuff she can shred in there. It's a cool idea, and seems very easy.
