"Yellow-faced Rainbow" budgerigar! Are these rare?

hello i have 11 birds.they're all great healthy happy birds but i saw this yellow faced rainbow budgie and i thought she was georgous...i had to buy her and i am really happy with her. she also seems to be happy with her 10 other friends..i just wanted to know if she is a special bird i have not seem any other birds of her colors...i got her for $12.00 and i dunno if i got a deal..ok well help me if you can...

"rainbows" are a mix of a few colourations, they are usually clearwing yellowfaces blues, sometimes with the violet factor. They are quite rare, but because they are a mix of all kinds of mutations, they can only be entered into competitions as clearwings... so breeders don't usually specially breed them (no way of telling what mutation would get passed on from rainbow parents).
They surely are very pretty!!!

hello... thanx 4 the reply...
she is certainly one of my prettiest birds...
although she doesnt have clear wings....she has all the regular markings but i think she might have some cinnomon in her because her markings are a grey not black color.
i was just curious about her because i dont see that many around...
