    Toys

So I like to spoil my fur and now feather kids. They eat better than I do and probably have more stuff than I do. So now that I have Sydney, it is time to spoil another kid. We are waiting till after the holidays to go shopping for all the kids.

Can anyone suggest a fun thing to get Sydney. When we got him, we got him 3 toys. A little suspended bell, some rings with a bell on the bottom and a mirror with beads on it that Sydney has taken a real liking to.

He plays with all but one of his toys so far, and I know he's going to need more, so suggest away at what Sydney's holiday present should be.

    Re: Toys

    Mine hates toys dang it.

Just be careful about rope perches that are chewed and can fray as well as toys with hunks of strands of cotton on them. Birds can injest the strands and they can form a mass in time and they then can't eat. Apparently this can be common so all of mine I had in with him with that are now gone.

You can also make toys yourself too.

i like the bird pinatas and toby attacks his every time he thinks i'm not looking and seems to really enjoy it. also they love wood so if you can get him a chewable toy with wood on it he'll probably like it.

Shredding toys are a big must for tiels. Does he have an adequate number of perches to properly exercise his feet?

Over time, you'll hopefully find yourself with quite a large collection of toys.

He has three perches, but two of them came with the cage. I don't like them and I'll be replacing them soon.

Very cute picture! The chest speckles remind me of Brie.

    That face is just adorable!

    Sydney is so cute...

My birds like toys they can chew on, like ropes or little chains. Their favorite is a roll of paper that they can shred- they love it!

    Re: Toys

Aww, what a cutie pie. A lot of birds like bells. So maybe some toys with bells. You can also go to the dollar store and make some toys with the craft section. Hoops of any kind should be avoided since they can get their head caught in it and Im talking from experience. Just be sure it's safe.
