Loki the hawkhead is 225g which is quite low for a HH. They are normally up in the 250-275g range but she is also a flier and doesn't like treats so that may have something to do with it!

Topaz our chunky monkey budgie is a hefty 36-38g while Tootee his little brother is only 28g (but has always been sickly )

On a side note, you ask the question and don't even give an answer yourself!

See videos of Loki and the boys here!

Rosco, when last weighed was 78grams, which is quite high. She's probably down a bit now, need to get her weighed again. She was a little chunky back then.

Shade weighs around 110g, she's a small Sennie.
Joey weighs around 125g, which I believe is the average for Red-bellieds.
Petey weighs around 132g, she's a big Meyer's, though not overweight.
    Piper weighs around 51g.

Cayenne (sun conure)- weighs 110-115g, usually
    Katana (cockatiel)- weighs 108-115g, usually
Lovebird (duh) - weighs, 41-49g, or just about 2.5 oz, haha
Mika (senegal)- don't even ask... I would die trying to weigh her.

Mateo weighs between 83 and 88 grams. What time of the day do you guys weigh your birds? I'm trying to be consistent here. I think Mateo seems on the light side.

Re: ★ How much do your birds weigh? ★

We last weighed our birds on 11/29/08. We didn't weigh the budgies... there is no way we could get them to be still long enough to actually weigh them. I'm including Penny, even though she is gone.

Karma - Solomon Island Eclectus - 380g (she is actually a little under weight!)
    Poe - Senegal - 125g
    Charlie - cockatiel - 93g
    Claire - cockatiel - 85g
Dee Dee - Green cheek conure - 70g
Des - cinnamon green cheek conure - 62g
    Petey - green pacific parrotlet - 35g
    Penny - green pacific parrotlet - 33g

And the cockatiel babies! We need to weight them again. They look like real birds now!
    1 of 4 - hatched 11/20 - 44g
    3 of 4 - hatched 11/22 - 29g
    4 0f 4 - hatched 11/25 - 17g
And again, those were their weights as of 11/29/08.

Last time I weighed Koba it was about 3-4 months ago.. She was 280 grams but has gotten a bit bigger. I wouldn't doubt she's 300 grams at the moment. Small for an Amazon but she'll probably grow a bit more.

I weigh first thing in the am after the big poop and before they eat.
    Petrie the lovebird is 43-44grams
Ziggy the cockatiel is 72-74grams, he was 67grams when he was sick
Rubi the GCC is 59-60 grams. She seems small comared to the other GCC on the board but she has good muscle mass and seems fine for her frame.

My Des is only 62g. He's a cinnamon green cheek. I've noticed that the cinnamons are often smaller than the regular GCC. He is 8g less than Dee Dee, my reg. I wouldn't worry about it much. As long as she is healthy otherwise.

    Pepper (Nanday) 131g

Edit: Sparky has yet made it to the vet.

Re: ★ How much do your birds weigh? ★

Ok, so maybe 83g isn't low for a cockatiel. My vet had weighed Mateo at 98g, but I think she read the scale wrong. I've been weighing him for awhile now and it's always 83g - 88g. Weighs more in the evening.

Re: ★ How much do your birds weigh? ★

Can't remember exact numbers, but last time I was at the vets, Kaylaur (CAG) weighed in at over 500g and Cosmo I think was just under 100g? I'll have to try to find the vet report...

I know the vet thinks Kaylaur is a bit overweight, and he'd like to see him come in at under 500g. You shoulda seen his face when he heard how much Kaylaur loves french fries! Hehehe (all junk food for that matter). Don't worry - we give him junk food in moderation for treats. And vet is ok with that (after he'd had his initial freak out).
Mary, Cosmo, Kaylaur, Perry & Tyler, and Spaz (temporary foster). And we can't forget the furry kids Pepper & Chewy!

Merlin (maroon bellied conure) is 72 grams.

    Sully (budgie) is 32 grams

Stitch (lineolated parakeet) is around 40 some grams. He won't stay on the scale yet, 40...39...38...37 is the only reading I got briefly.

Re: ★ How much do your birds weigh? ★

Well I guess Benny's going to have to weigh in as the beefcake of the thread at 533 g. He's really skinny, tho, I can totally feel his breastbone. But the vet says he's fine. He just kinda lives on air - he's too busy to eat.

Flora is the exact oppsite of benny - she's a porkchop at 333g. However, we prefer the terms "voluptuous," or "fluffy"
