she keeps clicking her beak at me

I've noticed that Bonnie has taken to clicking her beak. Does anyone elses budgie do that? I KNOW I've seen a post on it somewhere, but I can't find it. Does anyone know why they do that?

Hi Jupiter, thank you for your question.

Clicking of the beak is a sign of contemptment. Your Bonnie is at ease and comfortable. My budgies usually do this a lot just before bed or during the day when they are relaxing.

o0oh ok. I was afraid they do that when they are upset or something, since she usually does it right after we get done playing and I'm getting her ready to go to bed. She's still very skittish, so I wasn't too sure whether she was actually enjoying my playing with her or not. She spends most of her time desperately trying to get away...while clicking her beak at me. I'm starting to think she's just playing when she runs away though, now that I know why she clicks her beak. She doesn't LOOK scared, but I always figured she was since she was running away (or flying away, or whatever lol.)
    Thanks for clearing that up!

Is it grinding or clicking? Because grinding means contentment but clicking means that they're hot and are trying relieve the heat or not being able t breah properly, I think it also means something else but I forgot.

It's more grinding than clicking, I think.
