Smart kid. I buried so many birds in my Grandparents backyard for that reason. What a great invention.

What a great idea from a really cool kid...If he is who I think he is, I'll have to ask his father about this the next time I see him...

Wow not only if he were smart he would find a away to put a line of it into the glass while it was being made so that one day it would be in most house and commerical window glass...

hey give the kids some time i am sure he will do something great with his find. It may take him a year or two to figure out how to put it in to glass and still keep the glass clear. Paint cant just be added to molten glass you know. i think this is so much better than those tackey window clings of stuff my grandmother use to put on the window to keep the birds from flying in to them. but the tackey window cling things also kept people from walking in to them too

Wow!! That's great!! Such a smart kid!! I personally never had problems with my birds flying into windows, but if I had I'd be thinking, "Why didn't I think of that?!?!"

Re: Ottawa boy's invisible invention warns birds about deadly windows

Those are great and I sure would buy one for each window here because we get birds hitting our windows all the time. I now have bead strands on the front side of the house and this winter when it snowed and a little bird hit the smaller back window so my quick fix was to put dots of white paint on all the back windows. It looks really funny but no other birds have hit them. Our house windows are well decorated rather funny but we have not had any birds hitting them since decorating them.

What a clever kid -- I bet he'll get an A , and he should definitely market it!
