    That is true...

That is true also, i just wouldn't take the chance. I get nervous with my Conures all hanging out together because even they have little fights here and there (mostly Oliver and the Suns) and i don't let them play together unless i am in the room.
I'm just glad they actually get along, because that poor little Conure would be a goner if the 'Too wasn't so nice.

See I have to politely disagree with that idea. Maybe it's just my experience, but I've had two separate cases where different species were housed together for years, then all of the sudden started fighting. Maybe hormones, who knows. The point is that you can't ever really be 100% sure. My GCC and my lovie were super bonded to eachother, and I would let them hang out in the same cage supervised, but one day months later they started fighting again for no apparent reason.

That's what i would be worried about. Maybe they get into a little 'disagreement' one day and it turns into something much worse. Even if it wasn't a big fight, that 'Too could easily hurt that Conure.

Well yeah thats kinda the point. Even bonded, loving birds snap at eachother now and then. The bigger bird could definitely damage the smaller, without meaning to just because the difference in species.

But if she wants them to go to someone who's fine with trading their own birds, it makes me wonder if she really cares what happens to them. She'd have to find a reputable lovebird or finch breeder who can care for a cockatoo and a conure (or two breeders who can each take one of her birds, if they'd be okay going to different homes). How likely is it that a small bird owner would either a) have to give up their birds and yet be equipped to take in larger ones, or b) want to "upgrade" their flock and yet still see pets as priceless family members?

love how they are both sitting in the same way. About the first point, I suppose it probably wasn't the best of ideas but there's no reason why they wouldn't be friendly towards each other. I agree its not the most pressing issue of birds, There are much more significant problems out there; doesn't mean it should be overlooked just not made as much of a fuss of.

She's had it almost a week and is selling him because he is agressive, well duh she probably taumatized him while trying to paint him! its almost like she is trying to cover up that they both are really plucked.

Wow...I can't even look at these links anymore, they're making me mad. It's sad because another uneducated person will probably pick up on these ads and the bird won't get better...

I feel so bad for them
